The snow has returned to the valley and on frosty days and starry full moon nights you feel like you are in a winter fairy tale.
While on some days you can still catch a few warm rays of southern sunshine on the Soglio “sun terrace”, you can enjoy the view of the snow-covered peaks. The winter sports season begins in Maloja with a wide range of cross-country ski trails, hiking and snowshoe trails. Away from the big ski areas, Aela is great for skiing and snowboarding. The small but fine ski area not only has some exciting slopes, but also offers the little ones the greatest fun on the pony lift and snow tubing run!
