CÄVRA e FEDA
Romano Giovanoli, born on 3 June 1964 in Val Bregaglia. Married, father of two children and grandfather of three grandchildren.
“CÄVRA and FEDA” is my second exhibition after “AVVERARSI” in 2023. My initial works of night landscapes in pure realism, painted on acrylic chipboard. Still realism with a touch of symbolism, other works were born. In 2023, thanks to master Felix Stoffel, I learned the structural technique he created. With this technique combined with my realism/symbolism several of my works were born in 2023/24. Including the portraits of goats, flocks of sheep and more that I am presenting at this year's exhibition. New, some paintings are made on canvas. Virtually all indigenous subjects are part of our culture. Goats and sheep are fascinating and very intriguing animals.
The “Spazzacaldeira” project (31 paintings) in which I was able to immerse myself completely and with profound joy, in the recurring analysis of the same mountain. My range of motifs comes from my broad vision and my willingness to always strive to find new solutions and refine techniques.
I remember that in 2023 I opened the Panaläda painting school. In the place in Via Muntegn 3 in Vicosoprano I teach the structural engineering technique to children and adults.
