Would you like to savor chestnuts and at the same time actively learn how they are cultivated and what steps are necessary to produce your beloved chestnuts and roast chestnuts? The active sponsorship might be just what you are looking for.

The active sponsorship includes the following:

• A certificate with the name of the chestnut grower
• 10 kg of fresh chestnuts sent directly from the chestnut grower in autumn
• Spend a half day (approximately 4 hours) or two full days (around 8 hours each) in the chestnut grove with the grower during the season. The experience includes a snack, with the exact date to be coordinated with the chestnut grower.

Activities include: Clearing the grove, cutting undergrowth, mowing, building fences/dry stone walls, gathering chestnuts, raking leaves, chestnut pounding and more.
