Especially in the vicinity of the SAC Alpine Huts there are many climbing walls.

At the end of the Bondasca valley, near the Sasc Furä hut, a rock wall has been equipped with 17 routes of one pitch with difficulties between 4b and 6b. In less than 15 minutes by cable car, you can easily reach the Albigna lake. In the surroundings of the dam there is a wide choice of climbs. Three areas with several sectors have been equipped for sport climbing: Albigna Spazacaldeira, where the well-known "La Fiamma" is located, has about 30 multi-pitch routes of difficulty between 4c and 7b such as Albigna Frachiccio with 3 multi-pitch routes of difficulty 6a/6a+ and Albigna Placche del Lago, 2 routes with 5 pitches of difficulty 4a /5a.

Between Maloja and Plaun da Lej, facing south and with an incomparable panoramic view, there is the climbing area Spluga with more than 30 routes, mostly 1 pitch between 5b-7c. A couple of hundred meters before Plaun da Lej there is the homonymous sector with 50 routes between 4c-7c. 

In the nearby Italy, just across the border on the main road to Chiavenna, at a parking area, one can climb the wall known as “Sasso del Drago”, which is divided into two sectors and has about 80 routes between 4a-8c.
